Recently, Intel driver update has improved WiFi and Bluetooth quality on Windows 11, Windows 10.
Unlike the previous driver update that dealt with “Blue Screen of Death” related errors and other errors, Intel has focused on connectivity issues with the January 4, 2022 update.
Specifically, this driver addresses a bug that causes Wi-Fi connection timeouts. This can happen because of the Access Point’s channel change request. Intel has also enabled support for Windows 11 in the PROSet/Wireless Software application.
PROSet/Wireless Software 22.100.1 includes functionality and security fixes, and the company says users should update to the latest version as soon as possible.
Note that only supported hardware will receive the update. The devices include:
- AX201, AX200, 9560, 9260, 9462, 9461
- 8265 and 8260.
- 7265, 3165 and 3168.
Microsoft and Intel will also release this update through Windows Update in the coming months. However right now you can consult and update through this link.

Step 1: To enter Settings > Devices.
Step 2: Select item Bluetooth or other devices in the left section.

How to know if your PC has bluetooth?

View bluetooth address on PC
The Bluetooth address (MAC-Address) of devices is a hexadecimal number consisting of 12 alphanumeric characters. You do not need to connect the device to your laptop or computer to find it, by default Windows 10 will remember all devices that have been paired with your computer. The search method is as follows:
Step 1: Press the key combination
Step 2: Find the Bluetooth item, right-click the device you want to look up the bluetooth address > select Properties.
Step 3: Switch to tabs Details, in the Property you find and select the item Bluetooth device address. Immediately after completing the selection in Value will display the MAC Address of that device consisting of 12 digits.
How to rename Bluetooth devices on PC
By default, when you connect a bluetooth device to Windows, this OS will use the default name set up on the device.
