Recently, Intel driver update has improved WiFi and Bluetooth quality on Windows 11, Windows 10.

Unlike the previous driver update that dealt with “Blue Screen of Death” related errors and other errors, Intel has focused on connectivity issues with the January 4, 2022 update.

Specifically, this driver addresses a bug that causes Wi-Fi connection timeouts. This can happen because of the Access Point’s channel change request. Intel has also enabled support for Windows 11 in the PROSet/Wireless Software application.

PROSet/Wireless Software 22.100.1 includes functionality and security fixes, and the company says users should update to the latest version as soon as possible.

Note that only supported hardware will receive the update. The devices include:

  • AX201, AX200, 9560, 9260, 9462, 9461
  • 8265 and 8260.
  • 7265, 3165 and 3168.

Microsoft and Intel will also release this update through Windows Update in the coming months. However right now you can consult and update through this link.
